A copy of the student code of conduct, including harassment, harassment and bullying policies, is available online. A document is distributed at the beginning of the school year, which is signed by the parents after the directive has been read. There is no universal definition of harassment, but it generally has three criteria: (1) hostile intent, (2) power imbalance and (3) repetition over a given period. Harassment can therefore be defined as the activity of targeted, repeated and/or aggressive behaviours that are supposed to injure another person physically, mentally or emotionally. It is important to report harassment issues so that they can be dealt with properly by BES staff. Persistent harassment problems are often the result of unreported. Anti-bullying lessons are completed by classroom teachers and are part of our development program. moral harassment, harassment and intimidation are defined by the Pleasants County Board of Education Policy as «an intentional act or any act that is sufficiently inappropriate, verbal or physical, serious, persistent or pervasive, that it creates an intimidating, threatening or abusive educational environment, or that a sensible person must know that it will harm a student in the circumstances; (b) to cause the student to fear harming the person; (c) damage to a student`s property; or (d) put a student in a justified fear of property damage.» 3. We will involve students who stay away.

4. If we know that someone is being harassed, or that we are being harassed, we will tell an adult.
